Vedanta Oil & Gas Extends Flood Relief Support to Affected Parts of Assam
The annual monsoon is a lifeline for Assam's agriculture and ecosystems, but when rainfall turns extreme, it results in floods affecting the lives of many. The same happened when floods affected several districts in Upper Assam, leaving thousands of families homeless. Though rescue teams, government agencies, and local organisations worked together to provide immediate assistance, several responsible corporates like Vedanta Limited also stepped forward to support affected communities.
